Erika Bedwell

Erika Bedwell began working with Sylvia’s Sisters in 2019 after noticing a flyer advertising volunteer opportunities at her local library. The timing was perfect, as she had recently seen the Netflix documentary Period. End of Sentence. and felt strongly about doing her part to end the widespread stigma surrounding menstrual health. She writes and distributes the group’s quarterly newsletter, as well as press releases, grants, and surveys. Erika has a BS in Professional Writing. She lives in Richmond, VA, with her fiancé and a very cute turtle.
