Sanjana Murugavel

As the co-founder and vice president of Maggie L. Walker Governor’s School’s chapter of the national organization PERIOD., Sanjana carries a personal passion for fighting with Sylvia’s Sisters against period poverty and stigma. She loves coordinating and participating in volunteer projects, product drives, and fundraising events, helping all the menstruators out there in any way she can! Jewelry sales, guest speakers, presentations, and cute, uplifting cards aside, though, her favorite part of what she does is the feeling of making a difference in someone else’s life; she wouldn’t trade that for anything.
